LCM -- LCD Display Module - (LCD Display Driver Interface)

What is LCM?

LCM namely LCD display module & LCD module, refers to the assembly of LCD devices, connectors, peripheral circuits such as control and drive, PCB circuit board, backlight, structural parts, etc.

LCM provides users with a standard LCD display driver interface (4-bit, 8-bit, VGA and other different types). Users operate according to the interface requirements to control the correct display of LCD. Compared with LCM, glass is an LCD product with higher integration. For small size LCD display, LCM can be easily connected with various microcontrollers (such as single chip microcomputer); However, for large-size or color LCD display, it will generally occupy a considerable part of the resources of the control system or cannot realize control at all, such as 320 × 240 256 color LCM is displayed in 20 fields / second (i.e. 20 full screen refreshes in one second). The amount of data transmitted in one second alone is as high as:   320 × two hundred and forty × eight × 20 = 11.71875mb or 1.465mb. If the standard MCS-51 series single chip microcomputer is used for processing, it is assumed that the MOVX instruction is repeatedly used to continuously transmit these data. Considering the address calculation time, at least 421.875mhz clock is needed to complete the data transmission. It can be seen that the amount of processed data is huge.

The resolution of fax is the scanning density. The higher the resolution, the higher the scanning accuracy. It can be divided into vertical resolution and horizontal resolution. Vertical resolution refers to the number of pixels per millimeter displayed on the vertical horizontal line, and horizontal resolution refers to the number of pixels per millimeter displayed on the parallel horizontal line. According to the international standard of three types of fax machines, the horizontal resolution is 8 pixels / mm, so the resolution of fax machines is generally expressed as 8 pixels / mm × Vertical pixel / mm. Generally, we omit the horizontal resolution and only express the resolution in vertical resolution. The vertical resolution mainly includes standard 3.85 pixels / mm, fine 7.7 pixels / mm and ultra-fine 15.4 pixels / mm.

LCM process

LCM process (liquid composite molding) refers to the composite liquid molding technology represented by RTM, RFI and RRIM. The main principle is to lay the preform of reinforcing material designed according to the performance and structural requirements in the mold cavity, and use the injection equipment to inject the special injection resin into the closed mold cavity or heat and melt the resin film in the mold cavity. The mold has peripheral sealing and fastening, injection and exhaust systems to ensure smooth resin flow, discharge all gas in the mold cavity and completely infiltrate fiber, and the mold has a heating system for heating and curing to form composite components.   LCM (liquid crystal module), namely liquid crystal module.
